“… feel the joy of being alive… stop chasing shadows, just enjoy the ride.” – Morcheeba
In Buddhism, it is called non-attachment. When you’re not attached to any one particular outcome. When you realize that, sometimes, what you really wanted turns out looking different than what you envisioned. The shadows come in many forms. The one job that you have to get, the certain features your future wife/husband have to have… What do your shadows look like? Happiness comes when we let go of these material desires and enjoy every experience that comes into our lives, knowing that it’s exactly the experience that we’re meant to be experiencing. If that makes sense?
Just remember these powerful words, “All is as it should be.”
SO GET UP, GET OUT AND GO GET SOME!
“Enjoy the Ride” by Morcheeba ft. Judy Tzuke
“In order to enjoy the rainbow, you have to get through the rain.”
No matter what happens in our lives, just know that we are strong enough to get through it. The tough times are what help us grow and become more than we were before. While we’re in the storm, it might seem like things are hopeless, but when we look back, it’s easy to see why the experience was necessary at the time. The not-so-good-times teach us valuable lessons that we carry with us throughout our lives. And we get them out of the way to make room for the good times!

“What would you attempt, if you believed it was impossible to fail?”
You only get one shot at life, so might as well make the best of it. Don’t be that guy (or girl) who’s old, miserable and full of regret. Don’t be scared to live fully, to try new things. You might fall down a few times, but ‘dust yourself off and try again.’ You’ll never know unless you try.
So GET UP, GET OUT AND GO GET SOME!
“If you run with the wolves, you’ll learn to howl. If you fly with the eagles, you’ll learn to soar to new heights.”
You ever hear the saying, “You are who you hang out with?” Well it’s true. If you take the income of your 5 closest friends, most likely, you’re close to the average. So lose the toxic friends. The ones that always find a way to hold you back. The salty ones that, you feel, don’t want to see you progress and succeed. The ones that say, “You’ve changed,” like it’s a bad thing. Change is good. The ‘comfort zone’ will ruin you.
So who do you hang out with? Do they reflect your innermost drive? Are they where you want to be? If not, then maybe it’s time you do something about it. And it’s a funny thing, after a while you’ll find out who your true friends really are. They’re the ones that stick around and support your dreams.
So Get Up, Get Out, and Go Get Some!!

“Knowledge is like a mountain, the higher you reach, the more you can see and appreciate.”
Become a student of life. Never stop learning and growing as a person. Just because you finish high school, just because you graduate from college, doesn’t mean your brain suddenly becomes stuffed. It’s still hungry!! Feed it! Go to your local bookstore and read, sign up for some part-time classes at the community college. Research some personal growth seminars in your area. Take up a new hobby like golf or skiing. It doesn’t matter what you do, just do something! Keep progressing, keep moving forward. A wise man once told me, “You’re either growing or you’re dying, there’s no in between.” Stagnation is death in disguise.
So get up, get out and go get some!

“The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” -Chinese Proverb
Are you a dreamer? Do you have big goals? Huge aspirations? I know I do. But sometimes we get stuck just dreaming instead of doing. We hope and wish for change… like that job we’ve always wanted, to get back in the gym, register for those nighttime classes, but somehow life always gets in the way. We get caught up in the daily routine and our goals go by the wayside…
But not you. You take action. You know what you want and you go get it.
The first step is always the hardest, but keep putting one foot in front of the other and before you know it you’ll wake up one day and realize you’ve become that person.
When you first get back in the gym, it’s tough, you’re out of shape, you get super-sore and it’s hard to find motivation to go back the next week. But, if you want it bad enough, you’ll find it within yourself to stick to your goal and before long, it becomes part of your new routine.
Most importantly though, focus on the where you’re going, but don’t forget to enjoy the ride.
So, Get Up, Get Out and GO GET SOME! No more excuses.
You can choose to see difficult situations as “negative” or “problems,” or you can see these times as opportunities to learn and grow as a person. This is what separates successful folk from the rest, not net worth, but your ability to take life as it comes and always end up with one foot in front of the other, better than you were before. Success is a state of mind. Be successful.
Best wishes for a blessed day =)
